I had a lot of fun doing this one, because it is the first chicken that I have ever painted on canvas. Plus, this is the first time that I didn't paint a landscape background. I also know this little lady personally, which makes it fun as well. She was one of the chicks that were in my childrens Easter baskets last spring. Now she thinks she's queen of our flock.(Atleast until one of the older hens comes around.)
